Obama's Government hates women

A new report out today from a government task force called the Preventative Services Task Force says that chicas from ages 40-49 don't need to get mammograms and that self exams aren't necessary. Damn.....there goes one of my favorite (drunk) pick up lines. "Hey, I like your shirt. Uh, how about later I'll teach you how to do a breast exam?" We know these tests save lives I guess just not enough lives?? Think the American Cancer Society is pissed much about this?

"Breast cancer is most common form of cancer and the second leading cause
of cancer deaths in American women."

Somehow I smell a rat. Let's see there is this new universal health plan brewing where lots and lots of people who weren't covered before will be covered and looking to get some of these types of preventative tests they have been told to get but didn't because they couldn't afford it.......... Hmmmm......or would be easier if more people were just dead? See, maybe I've missed it. Cradle to grave care MIGHT really be cheaper if they can get you to reduce the number of births by paying for abortions on the front end and getting you to the grave quicker on the back end. I wonder if everyone knew Obama meant he would find savings in Medicare by just deciding that scores of preventative tests......just simply aren't needed?

Apparently, this little task force study influences coverage of screening tests by Medicare and many insurance companies. Really. Interesting timing, don't you think?

I wonder how Rachel Maddow will spin this one? Actually, I think Rachel just lost her best pick up line.

Me? Well, I finally can justify putting naked girls on my blog. Beevis and Butthead would be proud. It only took 252 posts.

Wait until TKC finds out the report doesn't even mention Hispanics.........racist too. :-)

That Dog Was Never Blue

Don't think of it any other way than Dennis Moore strongly believes in the house National Healthcare Bill WITH a Public Option. This wasn't some vote about which he was strongly conflicted. This wasn't a vote in which he lost sleep over what he AND his constituents wanted and what his party expected him to do at all. He voted for this bill because he liked it. Plain and simple.

Why can I say this with confidence? 31 other Democrats from conservative areas voted against it and it still passed by 5 votes. He could have voted against it and pull what I call a Toplikar. In other words vote against something because it looks good to your constituents knowing your vote won't make the difference and it will still pass.

I have a bolder prediction to make in the wake of this vote. Dennis Moore either won't run for reelection next year OR he will only put in a less than half hearted effort. I'm beginning to think there might be a surprise announcement that he isn't running. He can blame it on death threats, or he can let rumors about his own health regarding early dementia go unchallenged but I am starting to think there is no way this guy can treat his constituents this way, still call himself a Blue Dog Democrat and come back here and run for reelection. Either that or simply put this guy has the biggest brass balls I've ever seen. To think he can come home and tell people he is a closet conservative on fiscal issues and progressive on social issues......er the typical JOCO Moderate Republican and then be Nancy Pelosi's bitch lap dog on the Hill is beyond the pale of thinking he is unbeatable. Either way......this next election is going to be fun. I'm fired up and not fired up mad like some might think. I'm fired up happy like an Olathe North football player on Friday night fired up. I'm fired up like the rednecks from Spring Hill on payday heading to Bonita Flats. (Seriously, click this link....you didn't know this shit existed in SOJOCO) Okay, I'll confess I went there for my bachelor party but I've heard that Bunny no longer works there and that was a long time ago. Really. Long. Time. Ago. I'm fired up like any team in the NFL when they see the Chiefs on their schedule. I'm fired up like Mark Teahen must have felt when he learned he was traded out of Kansas City. I'm fired up like.....well you get the picture. I'm clearing my calendar right now, hell, I might even take vacation next year just to work against Dennis Moore. Thank you God, I've been waiting for this day. Dennis Moore.......this weekend you signed your political death warrant.

Oh......instead of dealing directly with his constituents he put out this letter.....and I'm sure he never read the bill (how could anyone).........explaining why he is voting for it just in case you want to hear from him.....well....directly? Stay classy Dennis!!!

Remember Dr. Yolanda Huet-Vaughn??: Local Media seems to forget.

I was watching the news last night when I saw a piece about a group of local doctors being trotted out by the democrats to says they will take less money to see everyone covered. Aw...isn't that sweet? So....you know Utopian. Here is a link to the story.

Then I noticed a strangely familiar face at the podium..........Dr. Yolanda Huet-Vaugh. The Deserter. The woman who in 1991 was court marshaled for deserting. The convicted criminal who spent 8 months of a 2 and 1/2 year sentence in the jail for refusing to report for duty, shirking hazardous duty, in the first Gulf War. The same Captain Yolanda Huet-Vaughn who took all the benefits of being a peace time Army Reserve Doctor but when her country and President called her to support those defending us and help injured soldiers she refused to go. That Dr. Yolanda Huet-Vaughn. The case was national news back in 1991 why am I the only one who remembers? Why wouldn't a socialist like Yolanda Huet-Vaughn support a government run health care system? It has been her dream. She in fact, has an absolute right to this opinion. It is still (barely) a free country. She has kept a fairly low profile since serving some time in Leavenworth, getting her medical license reinstated, paying her $5000 fine to the KS board of healing arts.........but lest we forget?

The real question is why........with her past wouldn't the local news organizations make mention of this little tidbit? Isn't her history as a war protester and political activist important to the story? Doesn't it color her credibility as someone with an agenda? Or do they just want us watching to assume that this is a group of non descript do good doctors who feel so strongly about public health care that they just had to speak up?????

The press sucks for not calling this out and they are lame.
