Moran for Kansas. I am for Moran.

As the Obama agenda seems to progress like, well, a Joy Behar joke (not funny, no punch line but nobody will seem to stop her) it seems that the best thing to do is send our best leadership as reinforcement to Washington.

We need leadership.

We need Jerry Moran.

This is who I'm supporting for Senate. What this ad is saying in a nice way is that Jerry Moran hasn't lost touch with who he is as a Kansan and the conservative and common sense values. I think we have all seen the Washington types who forget what it is like in the very district or state they represent. They get too comfy in DC. They want to impress their wine and cheese friends. They start to "evolve" as they say. One weekend they decide to stay and attend a party in Georgetown and then the next they have a staff member's birthday party and the next there is some fancy pants person in from out of town so they stay for that little deal as well. Next thing you know you are smoking crack with Mayor Marion Berry....kidding about that part......but they get out of the habit coming home until it seems more normal to just stay except you know just for holidays.....anyway that is where their friends are now, right?

Wrong. Jerry understands that to represent us you have to know us and understand what is going on back home as well as in DC. This seems like the kind of guy we need as a US Senator.

Not shocking I'm sure from this conservative. This will be an endorsement that I'm sure the Moran camp will be incredibly proud :-).

I am completely for Moran as well. I can't wait to put a yard sign closer to election day to show my support. I may in fact, for the first time ever, give money to a campaign as well.

He is honest, sincere, and a hard worker...so many things that most in DC are not.

Seeing as to how it seems likely that this guy will be our next senator, let's bet on whether he will accomplish anything of note in his first six years. I think the only thing he could possibly do is make Mike Johanns look good, which is really saying something.

Tiahrt seems to have too much crap following him.....nutty family, ethics....but he does have nice hair!

Moran seems to be the sensible choice.

Do you want a Senator who is going to fight and stand up for your rights? Do you want a Senator who is going to stand firm in his beliefs and not tell lies? Well then Jerry Moran is NOT your man. Jerry has failed to be honest with the people of Kansas. He runs from tough fights. Ex: Will not debate Todd. After votes, runs and hides in his office. Jerry has had almost 900 town hall meetings and what have the results been. Nothing. Jerry has not passed any effective legislation. Jerry is supposed to be the farmers friend but yet he has been one of their worst enemies. Todd Tiahrt has been very affective passing meaningful legislation and is willing to fight for the people of Kansas. He is ethically sound unlike Jerry Moran who is being investigated and probably will be charged with ethic violations regarding the C Street scandal. Todd lives with his family unlike Jerry who by all his town hall meetings and failure to live with them during the week has basically abandoned them. Do you know where Todd is when he is not in Washington when the house is in session. He is back home in Kansas. Todd understands KS values unlike Jerry who claims he is not Washington but yet over 30% of his funding comes from lobbyist and Washington insiders unlike Todd who's funding comes from everyday folks. Jerry - are you kidding me? Todd will be the fighter Kansas sends to the Senate.

Moran seems to be the favorite among conservatives. Is there anyway Tiahrt beats him in the primary?

Todd Tiahrt is a loser. He voted for cash for clunkers. 'Nuff said

Congressman Moran is an honest man that is a true reflection of Kansas values. He has repeatedly voted out of line with party votes because the legislation was not consistent with Kansas values. How did he know they weren't? Because he comes home to Kansas every weekends and speaks face to face with Kansans. At the coffee shop, at the grocery store, and at church. He approaches a vote with one question in mind...Is this legislation good for Kansans? If it is he votes yes, if it isn't he votes no. Eg. No Child Left Behind, Republican supported legislation... Good for Kansas (No). Jerry voted against No Child Left Behind. Jerry has not abandoned his family. I was at a function today with both he and his daughter. She did not act as someone who has been abandoned by her father. Jerry wanted his daughters to be raised in Kansas because he recognizes the importance of the values and character gained from growing up in Kansas. He didn't go to Washington DC to get away from his family. He went to DC to fight for a better life in Kansas for his children and the children of thousands of other Kansans. He realized that moving to Washington can cause people to lose touch with reality in Kansas. He makes that long journey home every weekend to be with his beloved family and remain in touch with the Kansans he humbly serves. Everytime I speak with somebody about Congressman Moran, my most important message is: If every politician in Congress was like Jerry Moran, our Country would be in a lot better shape. Please consider a vote for Jerry Moran.

I agree with everything Matt for Moran said. I was at the 3i show and Todd Tiahrt did a pisspoor job of saying anything that would make me vote for him. To top that, he brags about being confrontational. I don't consider confrontational to be a trait I want my senator to possess. I want a senator that can get along with both sides of the party line and accomplishes things through hard work and having healthy conversations with their constituents. That is not Todd Tiahrt. He seems to be more of a bully than a "fighter".
